Since its establishment in 1743, Moët & Chandon has passed on unparalleled winemaking skills and innovative pioneering entrepreneurial spirit from generation to generation. The founder, Claude Moët, has incorporated a commendable entrepreneurial spirit into his own champagne wine, and successfully created classic wines that are cramming throughout Europe. His grandchildren, Jean Remy, expanded their horizons overseas, allowing the family to produce high-quality champagne that rushed out of France and into the world. The winemaker quickly developed the family winery into a successful company with global attention. The 1190 hectares of fertile limestone soil form the largest plantation in the Champagne region, 50% of which are classified as premium vineyards and 25% are first-grade vineyards. The Moët & Chandon underground cellar is the largest cellar in the area. The wine cellar with a total length of more than 28 kilometers is like a magical underground maze.
